Data controller
The party responsible for processing your personal data is MAV Digital de CR SA, corporate ID (cédula jurídica) 3-101-826207.
Data we collect
Through the application we collect: full name, company or business activity, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the scale of your business, its legal structure and tax regime, annual revenue range, the service areas you need, the visibility of your margin, your main administrative challenge and your monthly investment range.
Contact form
Through the contact form we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and the message you write.
Purpose
We use this data only to evaluate your application, answer your message and contact you about them. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
The processing of the application and message data is based on your consent, which you give by ticking the acceptance box before sending them, under Costa Rica’s Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of their Personal Data.
Recipients
Within MAV, only the MAV Boutique team has access to your data. To receive the forms, protect them from repeated submissions and host the site, these providers are involved: Resend, which emails your application or message to our team; Upstash, where we keep for one hour a counter tied to your IP address; Vercel, which hosts the site; and Google, which provides the analytics service described below. These providers may process the information outside Costa Rica. If you write to us on WhatsApp, or we reply to you there, the message passes through that service, run by Meta Platforms, under its own terms. We do not share your data with any other third party, except where a legal obligation requires it.
Site analytics
We measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, a Google service. For each visit it records the pages viewed, the type of device and browser, the country and how you reached the site, and it uses first-party cookies to tell one visit from another. Google keeps this data for the period set in MAV’s property. We use it only to understand and improve the site; you can avoid the measurement by blocking cookies in your browser or with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as it is needed to evaluate your application and follow up on the contact. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.
Rights of access, rectification and erasure
You can request access to your data, its rectification or its erasure, and withdraw your consent, by writing to Gerencia@mav-digital.com or visiting our office: Plaza Villa Herrera, next to Banco Promérica, Pérez Zeledón, San José · Costa Rica. We will handle your request within the time limits set by law.
